Ask HN: Can RETS Data Feed be integrated into a shopify store?

We are fully licensed real estate brokers in New York. I am interested combining real estate listing from the MLS into a shopify store.

Shopify support said it may be possible, but would require extensive custom work. The objective right now is to pull data from the MLS and display it on the shopify website.

If anyone has experience in doing this, or believes it can be done, please let me know and we'll get the ball rolling on compensation.

Additionally, any comments, suggestions, and criticisms are welcome.
