Ask HN: Best blogging platform or personal set up?

I would like people's advice on what they believe is either the best blogging platform or best set up to run your own personal blog.

I run my blog here currently: http://raynes.io However I need to find a way that I can post from anywhere, perhaps with a push to GitHub or something.

Any advice would be appreciated.
