I am a photographer who has been photo blogging for pretty close to ten years (http://www.gosu.co.za) and could never find the right place to share and interact with other photographers, so I though I would scratch my own itch.
Who are we? We are a team of two who have build stuff in the past (http://listgorilla.com) I am a designer/user experience guy and my co-founder is a Java developer with great experience building rock solid applications.
Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who loves to build stuff and has a strong background in Javascript. We are offering a meaningful portion of equity and chance to work on a team who is motivated and committed to building great experiences. If you happen to be a photographer even better.

- Look at how your content is structured and figure out the best way to communicate your idea - Working on the user experience and the mechanics of the idea - Take a look at you branding (fonts, colours, logo etc) - Make broader recommendations that might make the idea more compelling
Realistically I will be able to get one (maybe two) key pages designed. Once it's done I will deliver a PSD with all the design assets you need. Why am I doing this? Because I am also trying to get a startup rolling myself and have learned much from other people willing to donate their time. I also love design and figuring out design problems is always an interesting challenge. I will pick one project and get cracking tomorrow (Australian time). News seems to be broken and I want to try and fix that. I want to create a place that offers a simple way to follow and find the stuff that you care about, presented in a way that is easy to scan and consume. The second part of this idea is I want to build discussion around news items, as a story unfolds it gets more context and is curated in one place. The idea is in its early stages, but I do have a screenshot to share with you that gives you a very clear idea of where I am going with this
I am looking for a developer to join me building this idea. I am willing to share equity and am ideally looking for a co-founder to work alongside with. I don't really mind too much where you are located, but we are based in Melbourne, Australia. Beyond being a great coder we are looking for someone who is on the same wave length and can add value to the idea when it comes to user experience. Our technology stack is Java and JSP running on the App engine.
