NOTE: This is a repost of the previous one, due to it being less in detail
I want to get some help with this idea of mine, I got tired of social media, so I have decided to bring a new era in social media with lambda, for which I would like some help in gaining traction, your help is all I need currently.
What is Lambda?
Lambda is a prototype currently for gaining traction and investment, but the prototype also has the main ideas implemented into it. Here's what makes Lambda unique:
- Privacy: Lambda does not collect personal information other than email for creating accounts.
- Well-Being: 1 Phrase "If you don't pay for the product you are the product"
- Organic Feed: No AI-generated crap. You only see posts from users you follow.
- Non-targeted advertisements: No privacy exposing, lambda uses a bidding system in which, if a total of $10M is bid, and one advertiser bids $1M, he gets 10% of the total ad space.
- Open Source: It's for the users by the users. What you want is what you get.
Comparison: Lambda vs Decentralized
Decentralized platforms are made to decentralize social media, but they have drawbacks and disadvantages.
Reimagining social media
- Lambda: Lambda wants to make itself an all-in-one platform, that focuses on privacy, and well-being, and is community-driven.
- Decentralized: These platforms aim to remove censorship and compete with X mainly.
Moderation
- Lambda: Lambda is a prototype, but there are plans to implement a moderation system where qualified individuals(user for >1 year) can help moderate content on the platform.
- Decentralized: Aim to avoid centralized content moderation, because of this approach, it can be challenging to address illegal or harmful content.
Technical Complexity
- Lambda: Lambda is a prototype, but it will be developed into a fully scalable platform once it gains traction with AWS. Using Lambda is straightforward, you just need to provide your email.
- Decentralized: A decentralized platform can be intimidating and confusing for non-tech guys, making them less accessible.
Feature and user experiences
- Lambda: Lambda does not have all the functionalities of the final product, but main features are added in the prototype. I hate surprises so the final product would have tweet like feature, Instagram like image post and bunch of other stuff to make lambda all-in-one.
- Decentralized: Decentralized social media platforms focus on X, and thus only a tweet-like feature is available.
What's Next?
Currently, Lambda is a prototype/MVP, because AWS makes burning money easy. If you would love to help it gain traction and remove facebook from power, please help me reach the goal of 5K users. Currently, lambda has 25 users(thanks to all those... private people! only 4,975 more), but those are pony numbers, for Lambda to AWS cash, it would need $5M, for which it needs to showcase it has traction to dummies(investors).

A star on GitHub would be... private... yeah not a comedian OK? Just an Indian doing Indian things.
Feedback
If you have any feedback, bad or worse, it's all accepted. Help lambda become a democratic social media app...

I’m excited to introduce Lambda, a project I've been working on. Lambda is the world's first open-source social media app designed to prioritize your privacy and well-being. It's still in its early stages, but I'm eager to share it with you and get your feedback.
What is Lambda?
Lambda is an open-source social media app that addresses privacy concerns and reduces social media addiction. Here's what makes Lambda unique:
- Privacy First: Lambda does not collect personal information beyond your email address for account creation. Your data is yours alone.
- Organic Feed: No AI-generated feeds or targeted advertisements. You only see posts from users you follow.
- Open Source: Built-in public, with community feedback and contributions highly encouraged.
What's Next?
Currently, Lambda is a basic version with text-only posts. Here are some things I’m working on:
- Adding support for images and videos
- Reducing latency
- Enhancing the overall user experience

My name is EzpieCo (not my real name), and I am the sole creator of Lambda, the world's first-ever open-source social media app designed with trust and privacy at its core. If you're tired of social media platforms that invade your privacy and promote unhealthy usage habits, Lambda offers a refreshing and ethical alternative.
## What is Lambda?
Lambda is an open-source social media app that prioritizes user privacy and well-being. Unlike traditional platforms, Lambda collects no personal information beyond the email address required for account creation. Your data remains entirely your own.
## Why Choose Lambda?
### Privacy First
Lambda is built with privacy at its core. It does not track your activities or sell your data. By eliminating targeted advertisements and user data trafficking, Lambda ensures your online presence is secure.
### Organic Feed Only(not available yet)
Are you frustrated with AI-curated content that keeps you scrolling endlessly? Lambda shows posts exclusively from users you follow, reducing screen time and promoting healthier social media usage. This approach aims to break the cycle of addiction fostered by traditional social media algorithms.
### Open-source and Community-Driven
Lambda is open-source, welcoming feedback and contributions from the community. The mission is to create a platform where users can engage without compromising their privacy. The transparency of open-source development means that anyone can audit, suggest improvements, and contribute to the project's evolution.
## The Mission
The mission is simple: to eliminate privacy concerns and build a trusted platform for users. Lambda aims to create a safe space for everyone, including minors, without the risk of addiction. I believe that social media should empower users, not exploit them. By building Lambda in public, I hope to foster a sense of community ownership and collaboration.
## Current Features
- *User Privacy:* Lambda collects no user data other than email, ensuring your information remains private.
- *Community Collaboration:* As an open-source project, Lambda thrives on community feedback and contributions.
## Future Plans
While Lambda is still in its early stages, there are exciting features planned for future releases:
- *Organic Feed:* Only see posts from users you follow, eliminating the distractions of algorithmically suggested content.
- *Multimedia Support:* Ability to add photos and videos.
- *Improve Performance:* Reducing latency and enhancing user experience.
- *Expanded Functionality:* Introducing new social features based on user feedback.
## The Current State of Lambda Lambda is still in its early stages. Currently, you cannot add photos or videos, and page load times average around 4 seconds. However, once Next.js caches the pages, the loading speed improves significantly. With community support, these limitations can be addressed and improved upon.
## How You Can Help If Lambda's vision sounds fun to you, here’s how you can help it grow:
- Star Lambda on [GitHub](https://github.com/ezpie1/lambda-official).
- Create a [Lambda account](https://lambda-official.vercel.app/). (Please note, initial load times may take 4 seconds.)
- Help it grow by writing blogs on Lambda. Your contributions help boost monthly active users.
- Spread the word to friends and family who value privacy and transparency in social media.
Your support can help reach the goal of 1K users, making Lambda a reality!
## Join the Movement: Every bit of support helps in building Lambda into a robust and user-friendly platform. Your feedback, contributions, and participation are invaluable as we work towards a safer and more trustworthy digital future.
Thank you for considering Lambda. Let's create a better social media experience together!
Thank you for your support
