I've noticed, at least with regards to my home, that the price estimates for early this year were much higher than they are today. For example, one might had looked at the price history and saw their house had increased $100k in value from the time of purchase up until Jan/Feb of this year, whereas looking at the estimates today, that same time period now shows only a $20k gain.

So if lets say 2020, house bought at $300k, was estimated at $400k by Redfin in early 2022. Today, Redfin now says the price estimate for the same home in early 2022 was actually $320k, not $400k as actually shown earlier in the year.

I know price estimates are just that but I'm curious to know if anyone else has noticed or what you might think of something like this being altered after the fact?

Just noticed that an item that was heavily Google searched on one device in my home was now showing up as an advertisement on another device that was using Internet Explorer. This device is purely used for work and that has never once been used for searching for this item or anything remotely related to it. I find this very disturbing, albeit highly coincidental, and I cannot draw any other conclusion (additionally, no other devices pair or interface with the work device in question).

I think its a bit annoying that there are people who get notified and vice-versa that someone is on Signal. If there is any way to avoid this, that would be great, otherwise what other services are out there that are similar but don't let the world know you exist without you letting them know first?

The first screenshot is what I see on my screen, except with a message at the top saying "Mirror My Screen (formerly MKMirror) - Free Download expires soon" and a "Download on the Mac App Store" button at the bottom.

Why isn't there any way to close this window without having to click this button in particular? And to be more clear, I cannot close it with Activity Monitor or Force Quit it in any way.

At first, I wasn't sure if it was a browser popup window and clicking anywhere in the window doesn't show me what macOS app this belongs to. For all I knew, it could've been malicious in nature and I wouldn't have known until clicking the button.

Finally, this window appeared after installing updates for macOS Catalina, I've mostly avoided going to Big Sur for now.
