Background: I noticed that my better half spent a lot of time searching for the same thing (at the time it was maternity dresses) across a whole load of women's fashion stores online. So I built her a site that lets her search some of the top stores from one site.

I have an idea for a few social elements that I want to add to try and make more of a community.

I'm a coder who builds websites that I think are awesome and useful. The problem I have is getting people to my apps and conveying how useful they are to the general public.

How can I get better at this? Are there any videos I should watch? Any websites or books I should read? Any tips?

idle.fm is an app that looks at the music you have "liked" on Facebook, then builds a playlist on Spotify based on recommendations.

I built it in the few hours I have free during the last couple of weeks. There's still a few rough edges (it's quite slow at the mo) but I thought I'd show you guys. It should work on iphones, although there aren't tailored views yet.

Do you think it's worth me continuing development? Suggestions, problems?
