What would you suggest to a newbie getting his feet weight into programming?

Javascript, in particular.

Your favorite resource that you keep coming back to clear your doubts and stuff?

In probably 6 months time, our company will use angular 2 for enterprise apps and I want to be ready by then learning angular 2 and typescript. Where can I begin? Currently, I am dabbling with python(intermediate..)..so I have a bit of experience with programming and tried javascript and node for a short period of time.

I am just beginning to learn python.With so much resource peppered around the web, what would you recommend that helped you with learning and applying your python knowledge.Resource, books, vids..etc. Thank you!
