Hi, I've been looking around on flippa etc to see whether any real web app is for sale. My reason for buying is just to experiment with various things related to running a site, do lot of trial-error and gain some confidence before being able to eventually launch my own. Unfortunately, the results you find there are sickening if you want a genuine web app that does something.

I know lot of people on HN own several webapps. Wondering if anybody willing to sell something? I tried to find a proper marketplace unlike flippa (i.e. without scammers) but couldn't, hence the post.

I was looking at wikimedia's projected spending for current financial year and was quite surprised to see it is $28.3 Million. I have uploaded a screenshot here:

I understand the server/bandwidth cost, but thats quite low as compared to the total spending for the year. I can't find any details on each type of spending... e.g. $13.3 Mil on employee wages alone, how many employees? What salaries?

I trust HN that somebody here would know better. Can somebody help me understand what are the expenses, considering its a non-profit org after all?
