I was an early Glass Explorer, but haven't worn it in months. I'm no longer interested in developing for the platform. Any recommendations for what I should do? What's the best way for me to generate revenue from it?
I have a potential client who would like to build a custom CRM solution for their large (+$500mm rev/yr) company. I am putting together a questionnaire for their employees to respond to in order to best determine the problems they face with their current system and the features they would like to see in a new custom system. What questions should I ask to elicit the best, most informative, and actionable responses from the employees?
I have clients come to me with the craziest ideas for projects that require complex hardware setups...my company doesn't have the expertise to take on these kinds of projects. I was wondering if there are any teams that specifically do these kinds of very difficult projects? If this is not following HN guidelines I'm sorry, I'll take this down.
What method of organization works for you? Do you use Evernote or pen and paper? Do you have multiple lists for different things? Do you review your notes? What works for you?
Whenever I read about the Greats, they all have this obsessive vigilance for their company and art. Can this quality be developed? I am good and hardworking, but do not have this quality, and find myself still binge-watching Netflix rather than getting shit done. I am unquestionably passionate, yet lack the Jobsian fervor that I need to be great. Any thoughts on this? Perhaps certain habits I should form? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
