I have an interview in the upcoming weeks where the job requirements as

1. Experience with networking concepts including: routing, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls. 2. Experience in and understanding of data and information management (big data trends and issues within businesses).

Can you please advise on appropriate resources to cover the bases here.

I am using a Netgear N450 Router and do not see a firewall option to block outbound traffic from my home network. I don't have specific domainnames but rather an IP address range to block. Can you suggest any options to achieve this ?
