I recently tried to make a separate work account in Discord. To do so I created a new account with my main accounts phone number. This caused discord to delete my primary account phone number and used it for the new account.

However, this alone caused me to be instantly banned. After reaching out to support, they basically told that me I could not use my present phone number for verification and that they couldn't tell me why, and couldn't help me further with that.

I would really like to keep my primary Discord account, is there anything I can do about it?

I have contacted Discord support through their ticket system twice, I have contacted Discord on Twitter (DM); but to no avail

Today in the morning, she woke up and browsed her Instagram account on her phone. Suddenly, logged out and redirected to her other Instagram (work) account.

I tried to help her find a support ticket, but there is nothing even remotely close to that on "Metas" help page.

Any ideas? Has anyone experienced this before? Are there any Metamates who can help?

This is the email she tried to send them, but it went to void:

"I was on my Instagram page and suddenly got a message on Instagram that I’m logged off. I tried to log in and it said that my account can’t be found. I did not get any email from IG about my account disappearing or it logging out. What can be done in this situation?"

Case: Not so technical colleague got scammed for 2 months rent. What can he do?

Steps: 1. He found apartment listing on immobiliare.it

2. Some emails were exchanged

3. He receives the link to the _real_ airbnb listing

4. He cant find it there, and the scammer sends the phishing page[1] (from @expertdesigner.eu)

5. Soon after he receives another email saying that the database is down from @airbnb.sa.com and he should meanwhile move the money using transferwise.com

6. Payment done

7. Scammer replies: Payment received

The login page was quite well made, and I think most of non technical people might get fooled
