I re-watched an old Ironman movie recently, this made me think, Jan-2023, how far are we from people wondering around cities with superhero powers backed by some engineering ingenuity? A super strong robotic arm ? Gun that hits a target by touching some screen and hitting OK? .. or is it already here and I just missed the memo ??

There seem to be zero knowledge on best practices when using pip in a large scale micro services environment. The question is simple: do you work with a fixed pip version (to get a known results) or do you always work with a latest pip version (pip install -U pip) for an evergreen experience? and why.

Sometimes I really just want a URL shortener, not a marketing tool, not a custom url, a simple redirect from one, super long unreadable and hard to email/whatsapp/text link, to a simpler and shorter option. Also, fast and zero UI noise.

Where I live (Israel) RoR arrived roughly 5 years after it spread in the US, I always knew it's hard to find RoR develoeprs in here. But than I came across this: http://gun.io/careers/1789/it-seems-it-is-easier-to-find-a-real-ruby-than-a- Would it be right to assume than, that good Ruby developers are just extremely rare all around? If so, what do you think this means for a project expecting to require many resources? and does it mean that in the enterprise world, Java/C# are there to stay, not only in legacy but also in newer and future projects?
