I live in New Jersey and would prefer not to have to commute to New York City every day to be able to work at a web/mobile company. Does anyone know of or work for a software company in New Jersey where their product is software?
This is probably a stupid sounding question, but it really confuses me. How do I decide whether to use MongoDB or Redis, Redis or MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB etc. for a specific project? Is it just a matter of taste or are each one optimized for certain use cases? I've heard of Redis being good for a cache, but then I hear some people just using it as their database. Which should I use it as?
I just accidentally deleted my bash_profile file which contained most of the custom colors, shortcuts etc. I would love to see what other people's bash_profile looks like so maybe I could try a new color scheme and some new shortcuts.
