Ask HN: Micro-formats, are they still relevant/useful?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Now here's the kicker. If you do want to activate your account after 60 days of inactivity, you need to get a brand new SIM card from them for $25!!!
So much for an on-demand internet service.
Is there a website that lets you chart your blood test results over the year such as cholesterol, sodium, etc, etc? It would be nice if it could track other stats, such as your weight and BMI.
Thanks,
Drew
I've been doing a little online research and the ideas seem to be either to use Regex or a full on NLP package such as Stanford's NLP, which usually are pretty massive. I doubt iPhone has a 500MB NLP package in there, which makes me to believe there should be an easier way. Too bad UIDataDetectors is not open source.
Thanks,
Drew
As a side question, what do you guys think about inline tagging/referring. Is that good UX?
Thanks,
Drew
I did come across http://www.odditysoftware.com/page-datasales226.htm but that doesn't include photos.
Also, I know there is http://www.opensourcefood.com/ which I think I can safely "scrape" since all the recipes have Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 3.0 License as long as I attribute the original author.
I was wondering if anyone on HN knows of a better recipe database out there which I can buy.
Thanks!
I was wondering is there room for innovation in reading apps. I think it's safe to say that people read a lot more (specially online) these days than ever before. In addition, I don't think the amount of reading is going to decrease in coming years.
Do you think there's a market for a better reader app or Google has already won the war? In addition, will you pay for a better reader app? If so, how much and what features you would like to see?
Thanks!
