I work with a lot of people who are not developers. I often find that their lack of grounding in any of the hard sciences means their mental models are not really that well developed. Many of them just also do not have research backgrounds.

In spite of these shortcomings, these people are immensely capable, talented, and motivated - in their own ways. I would like to broach the topic with them (one-on-one) about resources, such as books or articles, that might make them more productive in their strategizing.
