We sent our late application for S15 few weeks ago and we haven't received any email yet, a part from the confirmation after the submission.

I know that applications are read just before the next batch starts and since it starts in 2 weeks I wonder if anyone has already received an invitation for the interview.

Anyone?

We sent a late application a couple of weeks ago, I read that YC cannot say when they'll check and reply to late applications but they do it before the beginning of the program.

Is there any of you who applied with a late application in a previous batch that can share how long it took them to reply and when were the interviews?

We are scheduling many appointments with customers for the end of May and it'd be bad to tell YC to reschedule because we have already other appointments (of the same importance)

What kind of growth should a startup have to get the interview?

I read that late applications will be read after the interview cycle, this at the end of the month. When should I expect to receive the email for the interview and the day slot? At the begin of May? middle? end?

I've worked with ruby and rails (and other ruby frameworks) for many years now, mostly for backend works, and I love them. It's the only language I'm really fluent with and I'm thinking about looking to some more languages to deeply learn and experiment, to avoid that one day ruby won't be needed anymore and . I'd still like to be on the web development

Which languages and frameworks do think are good bets? Javascript (nodejs, angular/ember, and many more)? Go? Which others?

With all the client javascript frameworks I'm also starting to wonder if we'll ever need backend anymore or if it'll be just built as "premade blocks" and bringing all the focus to the frontend
