It's pretty obvious I have too much time on my hands.

I'm wondering what subomain names others have used when naming a cdn for their websites.

The twist is that I'm reserving cdn.domain.com for other uses.

This is for serving assets for a tech related marketing site.

My initial thoughts:

  cdnx.domain.com
  web.cdn.domain.com
  cdn.web.domain.com
  cdn-web.domain.com

I should just get on with it, but, hey, why not give it a cool name.

Searching files in terminal and node_modules is making my life extremely uncomfortable.

Project directory looks like so:

   project/
   ├── index.html
   ├── node_modules
   ├── js/
   │   └── scripts.js
   └── style.css

I find myself using `find . | xargs grep "text string"` to search the project directory.

I want to ignore everything in node_modules all of the time.

I'm familiar with --prune and ignoring, etc.. but I want something like an alias in my .profile that ALWAYS ignores the contents of node_modules.

I've looked around, but I just don't know if I'm asking the question correctly.

Anyone have any solutions?

Did a search for "how+to+download+videos+from+youtube" on Google, and Google's own card comes up with instructions through ClipGrab and points here: http://clipgrab.org/faqs/howto-download-youtube-video.

I searched HN for any mention of ClipGrab and found nothing. Since it's software that needs to be downloaded and installed on my Mac, I wanted to see if anyone's used it, or if there are better/other alternatives.
