I know that many of you will say Ruby is doing fine, etc... let me say that regarding jobs and adoption is not that great, especially compared to Python and a few others, without even looking at usage stats.

However, I see some attractive features in Ruby 3, do you think that's enough to get a comeback?

My main concern is jobs availability, as an employer I find it harder and harder to find good RoR developers and they become super expensive. As a startup you're start to think if you made a big mistake choosing Ruby , even if it's easier to build something, being so hard to find affordable developers offsets every advantage you had.

We're a SaaS company where our users set a CNAME on their DNS to point to us so they can use their own domain for their links(for branding). There are a few hundred domains, but all point to the same IP and the total traffic is very low (below 10 GB/month).

Cloudflare is asking to buy their $5,000/month Enterprise plan, Stackpath quoted over $2,500/month, Fastly charges $20/domain, AppTrana charges for domains as well, Akamai is also super expensive.

Why everyone is charging per domains? Seems that don't care if there's no traffic on that domain or if the domain is pointed to the same origin.

Is there any WAF service not charging based on how many domains we have?

The support time on my startup is split in half between normal customer support and technical support(widget not working on the website, API call not working, etc).

I'm looking to hire someone to do this, but seems that's not that easy.

A good technical person doesn't like doing support, a great support person is not that technical to debug a tricky API issue.

Is the only answer to hire 2 persons? Maybe some of you guys went though this and can give some pointers.
