There are so many books and resources titled Design Patterns in X language but all of them seem to be teaching it in a way that aren't ideal in a practical situation.

Most of them just look like the language was used like Java style Gang of Four or Head First Design Patterns.

Are there any books that teach design patterns without either relying on a language or using the language specific idioms correctly?

I see a lot of non-fiction recommendations that are mostly generalizations about something and references to source material they researched, and they turn out to be pretty hollow in terms of reading.

However, books that have been written by people who have worked years in that field or on that topic have mostly been a good experience.

What would you recommend as the tech stack or framework of choice for a full stack application that allows handling all the maintenance tasks like security, auth, database etc. easily for a solo dev that can be easily maintained for a long time in the future?
