I can't be the only one who'd take a pay cut, move to a developing region in exchange for putting my programming skills towards a greater social good?

I'd hope it would be easy to find organizations leveraging the work they are doing and the experience they'd provide to attract talent, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Am I just looking at the wrong places? Do these jobs simply not exist? What's up?
