Like many, I'm struggling to find a new role and am thinking it may be time to pursue a new career. I'm kicking around the idea of moving more towards a scrum master / project manager role. Have any of you made the jump and, if so, any recommendations on how to make (or not make) the change?

Did you think their assessment tasks and questions were relevant to the position you're seeking?

Do you feel their assessment was accurate?

My wife and I both work from home and are looking to move so to a bigger house so we can both have an office. We would also like to move to a more rural area so that we can have more acreage. The problem is that many of the more rural areas that have the homes we're looking for are not services by high speed internet providers.

Does anyone currently use satellite internet? If so, would it be a viable alternative for us? Regarding our specific use case: I work as a front end developer and my wife has an administrative job. We also get all of our "TV" via internet using roku sticks and do not rely on cable.

Decades of computer work as atrophied my handwriting to an embarrassing level. Has this happened to you? If yes, what are you doing to address it? If no, how did you avoid it?

I've been a self-taught web developer for 16 years and am currently in the job market. I've been getting some take home coding assessments that don't look like anything I've encountered in my career so far. I've always assumed that there were holes in my knowledge due to the way I taught myself, which was essentially develop the logic in my head and then look online on how to manifest that logic in the language the project uses. It's gotten me pretty far, but I believe I've hit the limit and feel that I'm stuck as a intermediate developer. I think it's time to take a few steps back and "relearn" web development.

I've just purchased several udemy courses on computer science and various languages. Can anyone suggest any other ways to fill the gaps in my knowledge? Specifically, I'm looking for:

Blogs

Podcasts

Online Courses

Any other tips
