so like the utility of the humane wearable BUT they aren't answering my questions about what they share with Tmobile. There is an AWFUL lot of very personal data headed into that little thing and I would want to CLEARLY dictate what and WHO should have access to that data in any shape or form. What happens if the humane device detects that you are developing a neurologic disease and tells your health insurance first? Can it listen to someone who is just at the next table and use that data somehow? I think this is different to just a smartphone considering the "AI" aspect of it. Anyone share my concerns? If so email your senator as they are looking for use cases to consider.
we've tried using julia but FINALLY the compile time latency, HUGE memory consumption, language instability and pkg version hell got to us. We're lucky that we modularized everything so we can easily move over in stages. I'd be interested in anyone else who are making the move and what field they are in. For the record julia is a fine language but it is NOT for us.
Hi all
don't know ANYTHING about this so... But I would have thought OFFICIAL ( authorized) balloons have to have transponders/radar reflectors etc and if so WHY did we, seemingly, shoot down hobby and academic balloons? Also why did we use a $400,000 missile to shoot down a balloon? wouldn't a missile's fragments destroy most of the intel platforn?
