The market is filled with note-taking apps, knowledge bases, second brains, etc. in which you can write notes in Markdown. How about AsciiDoc? It's better in quite a few aspects, though not gaining much popularity. Anchors can be put pretty much anywhere, and linking to them seems more natural than "backlinks". Complete table support. Also has native admonitions.

Playing with IDN domain names, I had several problems with services supporting such email address:

- Gmail doesn't allow me reply to a friend's email, though they could send to me - GitHub would 500 out when adding a GPG key with a UID with Unicode email address - Some services can't outright send the email to such an address

A thread from 2017 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=14831756 and one from 2019 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19013617 showed that the support was poor. I wonder how it is in 2022?

...and also claiming they are comfortable with persisted zooming or style modification.

With enough money, companies buy company.com.

Without, they usually go with getcompany.com, usecompany.com, companyhq.com, companyapp.com etc. but nobody seems to bother using c.ompany.com or co.mpany.com.

Without considering other TLDs (.co, .app, etc.) and domain hacks (del.icio.us itself counts as one, but here it's to make a point), what do you think is the reason of this?
