Hi HN, I would love to open up the source code to my idea streetmailer.com: the electronic pin board for your street. The system works fine but can use great improvement and regular users. It is already designed. What do you think? Is this an open source project worth spreading?

I offer the following to you / your start up:

I work for you as an (interims) CFO (6-12 months). My input would be in particular: drawing up financial plans (liquidity plans), setting up a nice financial controlling structure, consulting in all financial matters.

Set up: You can put me on your website as your official CFO (such providing potential investors a bit of security when it comes to finances). Besides my financial consultation, I will be available on a need basis. Of course I will come to your meetings etc. Otherwise I will work from my office.

You decide to pay me a flat fee per month of 1.000 - 2.500 Euro (depending on work load) or in equity.

Your start up should be in Europe. Other regions might work, but the distance might be too long since I work here in Europe. However, we can talk about everything.

My credentials: I: - founded 5 companies so far(most from scratch to finish, with one exit to a blue chip co.); - am supporting start ups since 1998; - have an UoL/LSE Degree in Accounting & Finance; - have technical know how;

I am working on a web based service that allows people to communicate based on interests. About 100 people tested it so far and feedback looks good. However there a sooo many possibilities of further features and "add ons" and app requests. What would it take so you (HN community) would develop apps for web services or a website in general?

What do you think about the current e-commerce trend of subscription based retail? Such as dollarshaveclub.com etc.? Do you think it's a business model with long term viability? What other products do you see fit this model?

I tried to google etc. however, no luck. Does anyone know if there is a tool like codecademy.com out there for other subjects? Such as Anatomy? Chemistry? Physics?

In an introduction to an objects course the team of Codecademy placed a javascript joke. I am not a member of the team of Codecademy but found it pretty funny. Here is their joke:
