For those that don’t know, a long time ago there used to be a website that worked just like HN but centered around design. It used to have: - showcases of beautifully designed websites - articles about design - discussion The website is still up and it does have daily activity: https://www.designernews.co/ But what you’ll find is the quality has dropped massively and the community is barely there.

Is there some other website where the showcases and the discussion have gone to? I used to discover stuff like the website of a rural law firm that somehow had an incredible design and I’d love to find the magic again.

Right now, HN is my favorite source of new information and I really like it.

But I think places like these can have a tendency to become bad, which might happen too far into the future for the alternative to already exist, but given that I feel it's taken a long time in my life to find this website, I wouldn't mind having a list somewhere of websites to try if I ever feel like this one isn't fun anymore.

So the question is, if HN was suddenly down, where do you think we would all go? (and maybe, where do you think we should go?)
