Why is everyone talking about Google Now

As per reports, India is going to have 185 million mobile internet users by June 2014.

Unlike US , Brazil and many other nations where ios has more market share, - India has 70% Android users. Apple folks !, are you listening - ios needs to work hard to overtake competition.

What would be the Apple strategy - more focused on innovative features or innovative ways to show Value to customer ?

It is suppose to support multiple mobile environments with single-shared code base making it simpler & faster to develop

Any feedback on performance and cost

Our application uses G+ feature that was working fine before I upgraded my system to OS mavericks

Now we are getting following error "ld: library not found for -lGooglePlusUniversal clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)"

Can anyone help me resolve this. We have tried many things but somehow struggling to fix this, I am sure it is some silly mistake that we are over looking

Is it worth spending millions on sales when you can spend the same on product development without Jeopardizing Sales?

As per HBR, Sales organizations especially in technology companies are moving from "Field Sales" to Inside Sales". Do you think it is good idea for technology startups to cut costs by moving away from "Field Sales”?

I personally feel its time for Lean organization especially for Startups. Most of the tech companies/startups can move initial part of their sales cycle inside(telephone & email) & may be (if really necessary) latter part of sales cycle can be explored to be by field sales team.

Moving away from “Field Sales” towards “Inside sales” not only makes your staff efficient & effective but also reduces the cost (one of the key resource of a startup)

Field sales should come-in when one needs face to face meeting only. Personal touch is important but at what cost is something to debate.

Exactly 11 yrs back (1 Oct 2012), PwC decided to move out of consulting due to conflict of interest issues. They sold their consulting practice to IBM globally.

Now after years PwC probably has realised their mistake and are trying to strengthen their consulting practice by buying out Booz Allen. Will they not face the same conflict of interest issue

Do you think this is a good move?

Will this lead to Enron kind of problems due to which consulting and auditing firms were mandated to be separate

We have got good discounts on Azure cloud, wanted to check is it worth moving away from AWS. We are very happy with AWS but it is definitely expensive.

If anyone has used Azure cloud, pl suggest if it is worth moving to Azure. Hope for saving few pennies we jeopardize our running business.
