I tried building a MUD with GPT-4 and Claude 3 Opus. They were able to give me the initial setup no problem, but iterating on it was a disaster.

Anyone else want to try letting a LLM build a web based MUD from scratch? I'm interested to see how far you can get with minimal help given to the AI.

Wrote an open source command shell wrapper for LLMs to use. Just testing it with with writing a website from scratch. Comparing GPT-4 and Claude 3 Opus. The results: Pretty similar, they can write a PHP page, with components, styles, and active elements like a fun quiz on one of the pages.
