The general consensus on HN seems to be that the Youtube recommendations are subpar. You can watch a seemingly benign video and suddenly Youtube assumes you are interested in going down the rabbit-hole on some unrelated fringe topic.
Has anyone worked on an alternative to the default recommendations engine?
