Andrew Huberman is compiling a list of the top 10 podcast episodes of all time. Naval @ Joe Rogan is 1st.

That is also probably number 1 for me (it was life changing.) The other Naval podcasts at The Knowledge Project, his "How to get rich" series would be there as well. But I'm confident the HN crowd will know about the other Naval episodes.

I'd like to move to the U.S. as a software engineer. Where could I find a db of jobs that sponsor in the USA?

Either because you work at a certain industry and you see something is missing or people complain about certain tasks/products that exist and are a burden

I’m part of a “pre-idea” venture scalable startup accelerator and I’m very keen to explore spaces people think there’s possibility for something to be built. Yes, I’m basically asking for free ideas

I feel like I’m very self aware, both internally and externally. I know that what I will say (because of the way I will say it) will be delivered badly and probably make the person sad/angry, but I cannot find a way of fixing the words I use! I feel like I have a big problem with my emotional intelligence. To fix this, I am looking for a book that is what “The mom test” is to customer discovery, but to Emotional Intelligence. What I mean by this is a book that actually contains suggestions of what to say, word by word, and how to be able to think and articulate what the other person might come to think. Any suggestions?

I'm constantly looking into Arxiv for new AI/ML papers, research, but I would love if there was a newsletter with the most interesting ones, or a site that just used GPT to summarize what the new papers are about

I've been accepted into a programme called Entrepreneur First [0], which is basically Love Island for co-founders. The programme is quite cool; the sum of the companies coming out of the programme are worth over 10 billion dollars.

At EF, they go against the Ycombinator advice of only seeking tostart a startup if you have an idea. You basically start pairing up with a random person in the programme and try generating ideas together.

I'm starting EF soon, and I have January and February free, where I'd like to *do something that will help me generate ideas* and prepare for the CEO role of starting a company. If you were in my situation, what would you do?

I'm mostly thinking of "infiltrating" an industry I don't know much of, but *I don't know which industry*. I don't know which macro trend I should follow. I don't really know what my passion is and if I should even follow my passion first of all. Which industry would you infiltrate?

I thought of things like

- working for free for an early stage startup where I get to know an industry and a good CEO - working in warehouses, supermarkets, etc - looking at some macro trends like Climate and getting involved with people who are actually on the ground working with infrastructure for this.

What would be your way of using this time to generate ideas?

I've had Lasik surgery and it didn't go particularly well. I've developed meibomian gland dysfunction and it's been a pain to

- look at screens - work in environments with heavy AC - survive in cold weather (I'm currently in the UK, it's cold and windy, and my pores (glands) basically don't open so less tears come out of my eyes.)

I wonder if anybody else has been through this and has found a way to cope, a cure or something that works for them.

I just want to go back to coding 10 hours a day in front of a screen

I have no idea how to run a company. Is there a book that covers some of what that means?

I set up an automation to "reduce white point OFF" at night and back ON in the morning, so if I pick up my phone in the middle of the night my eyes don't burn

I'm super keen on learning medicine. I don't want to go to med school but I want to be able to learn as much as I can through books so that I'm better able to make decisions about the health of those I love
